The Lafayette Escadrille, 1917

The Lafayette Escadrille, 1917

Our goal is to raise $300,000 in finishing funds to complete the film! Our premiere is November 9, 2019, so we’re seeking 300 believers in the importance of this great story of American volunteers to each donate $1000 and join the select group called The Lafayette 300. These tax-deductible gifts will fund our final tasks: recording a celebrity narrator and professional voice-over actors, licensing archival footage, photographs and music, insurance, creating special visual effects, more graphics, and mixing our sound design and color correction.

We’re so close to an unprecedented accomplishment—the first-ever, comprehensive documentary on the Lafayette Escadrille. The first ever! It is the only American story that takes us through the totality of World War One on the Western Front—all for a fraction of our original budget. And now we’re prepared to sprint to the finish line.

As a member of The Lafayette 300, you will receive a commemorative pin, a copy of the film and a book on the Lafayette Escadrille by one of our historians and a credit in the film. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that your contribution brought this true and remarkable story of visionary young Americans and our historic kinship with France to life on film for the very first time.

Please make a tax-deductible gift to the Humanus Documentary Films Foundation of $1000 to join The Lafayette 300. You can donate by clicking the PayPal button below, or mailing in your gift at the address below.
